Zirker Marine Design is a bespoke vessel design and lofting studio working in aluminum — small-craft commercial hulls designed from the fabrication floor, not the drafting table.
Founding story — in progress.
Design decisions here are made by someone who works on the fabrication floor, not away from it — standing daily among the welders and fabricators who build these hulls, including vessels from some of the best design houses in the business. That's where buildability gets tested: not on paper, on the shop floor, the same day a detail either works or doesn't.
A workboat's shape is dictated by its mission first. That doesn't mean it has to look like a box. Every hull that leaves this studio has intentional surfaces, transitions, and proportions — resolved with the same care whether the boat is a sport tender or a deck-heavy utility craft.
Every hull carries the shield — a mermaid figure over a monogram, in teal, brick, and gold. Ask what it stands for sometime; it's a good story.
